Description
The windmill was used commercially until just before the Second World War and then for domestic purposes (to make animal feed) until 1976. In 1991, the Friends of Saint-Julien-d'Ance association set itself the task of bringing local heritage back to life, including the windmill. Since then, the windmill has been turning once again and is open to visitors. The flour mill is still being renovated, but you can already see it in action: the water driving the horizontal wheel, the millstone and the blutoir (device used to separate grains).
Visit on reservation for groups from May to November.
