Each year, the international folklore festival welcomes almost 400 musicians and dancers from every continent. The magic of the festival brings together artists from a range of faraway lands. The variety of cultures, songs, dances and costumes produces a harmony of colours that is a joy to see.

For one week, Le Puy-en-Velay becomes an international meeting place for cultures. Performances take place all over the town and are always warmly welcomed by the public.
A big show is organised at the Palais des Spectacles et des Congrès in Vals-près-le-Puy for the opening of the festival.
