Verbena liqueur is one of the Velay region’s most famous specialities. It often made by family firms using recipes handed down from generation to generation.
Description
Unique guided visits are organised to the very heart of the plant, among the liqueur stills and oak casks. The guide will introduce you to the history and manufacturing process for the famous liqueur made from 32 plants, including locally grown verbena.
This is a journey back in time with a collection of vintage advertisements and posters, along with traditional distiller’s tools illustrating 150 years of history.

Children’s activities (for ages 4 to 11) focusing on the five senses in July and August. Wednesdays at 4.30 p.m. and Fridays at 6 and 7 p.m.
