Morning: Visit of Le Puy-en-Velay
From 9.30 am
Arrival in Le Puy-en-Velay. Your group is welcomed at the Tourist Office by a
by a tour guide. Departure for the walking tour, discovery of the historical city
visit of the cathedral (listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO as part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela).

Afternoon: Visit of the Polignac Fortress

Guided tour of the Fortress of Polignac. This site was the birthplace of one of the most illustrious families in French history. Historic remains from the 11th century with a sentry walk and a unique defensive system. Powerful 14th century keep (32 metres) offering an exceptional panorama.

Departure for the visit of the Velay Pagès Verbena Distillery (located 5 km from Le Puy-en-Velay) in Saint-Germain-Laprade. The Distillery offers you to discover the secrets of its master distiller.
In each room, you will be able to taste a delicacy: macaroon, verrine, éclair, ice cream made by pastry cooks from Pau, using Pagès liqueurs.
