14h30 : Visit of the Crozatier museum with the exhibition "Serpents. Do you dare to change your look?"
But who are these snakes? The one from history, from the Bible and from mythology, which makes Eve fall, bites Cleopatra, kills Laocoon; the one from natural history, the museum keeping a whole series of reptiles in fluid; the one from popular history, through beliefs and pharmaceutical products. The vipericidal Courtil, who died in the Haute-Loire in 1902, is honoured with his unique snakeskin wardrobe. The works on display are varied, from a Greek vase to a theriac pot, including venom stones, jewellery, a painting by Luca Giordano and contemporary creations by Niki de Saint Phalle, Pierre et Gilles and Joana Vasconcelos.
16:30: End of the performance.
