Welcome to the Hôtel des Lumières, the largest digital art center in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region located in the
Hôtel-Dieu Cathedral in Le Puy-en-Velay.
After hosting major exhibitions in partnership with the Louvre in particular, the Hôtel-Dieu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Cathedral (as part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela), is now partly transformed into a digital art center.
The Hôtel des Lumières unveils 3 immersive scenographies thanks to the latest projection technologies and sound design.

At nightfall, the city's monuments are lit up:
A journey of about 1h30 between the lower and upper town will retrace the history of the city through various themes: volcanism, its history, its culture, its architectural heritage, in a dazzling light scenography.

Discover the Crozatier Museum, the exhibition "Self-portraits: from Cézanne to Van Gogh".
It is an exhibition on the theme of self-portraits that is proposed in Puy-en-Velay thanks to the exceptional support of the Orsay Museum. Several museums in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region have also agreed to participate in this project to show the richness of the regional collections. More than 70 works (paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints...) have been brought together (including 40 from the Musée d'Orsay). Among the most famous artists are Gustave Courbet, Camille Pissarro, Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh...
