A trail towards the Way of St James, leaving from Le Puy-en-Velay... Imagine the emotions of the 12th century pilgrims who, after paying homage to the apostle James, walked down the monumental steps of the cathedral and saw the town of Le Puy... Their thoughts also turned to the long trail they were to follow, hidden behind the mountains that barred the horizon. For you, too, the great adventure will begin on the Puy trail (known as the Via Podiensis), which is today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, like all the trails along the Way of St James.
