This is a stream of stones that turns into a river as it rises towards the orientation table at the summit. This vast accumulation of basalt blocks shows the force of the erosion made in the volcanic landscape.
The "larva flow" is part of the “Volcanoes at Liberty” network.
A path to the left of the scree leads up to the summit and the orientation table.
For your safety, we recommend taking the same route on the way back.
Accessible all the year round with a good pair of walking shoes.
