The trail is a 5.7-km loop partly following the Way of St James on the way back. Easy trail Adapted, but slightly tricky section over the scree
Description
About 2 hours. There is also an alternate route of around 1.7 km. Accessible from the St-Christophe-sur-Dolaizon road with an adapted esplanade. In places you will need to climb rocks that can be slippery after rain, even though there is a cable to help you on your way. Wear some good walking shoes.
Ecotourism:
"Volcanic stone is the focal point of the trail. On the way, you walk across a vast volcanic rock slide that is unique in the Velay region. You will see how people used the stone and the volcano to grow crops.
Ideal for adventurers of all ages."
